Most people I know enjoy beauty. In fact, based on my observations, people crave beauty. Beauty attracts us, it makes us feel happy–it inspires us. To me art is beauty. Adding art to anything adds beauty. You add art to words and you end up with poetry and music. You add art to a structure and you create an architectural masterpiece where others want to gather. Art has the power of bringing people together. This is why art to me is joy, because it’s beautiful and it inspires happiness. I want my art to make others happy.
